AFTER

If you look at the post just before this one, you can see what the "BEFORE" looked like. I'm not done yet, but for now I am at a good stopping point. Still need to do lots of trim work and get a new floor. This has been quite the on going project. I started 3 years ago when my cooktop stove started leaking gas. Since then I have managed to swing a few hammers, run a drill, circular saw, roto-zip, and my favorite, an air nailer. My least favorite thing was when I got zapped with electricity, I don't recommend you work with the power on unless your "really" know what you are doing. Thanks to Nels, my roomy Scott, my boss Gary, friends Jan, Nancy, and Cindy and my ex-sister in law for all the help, moral support and loaning of tools I didn't have. I know my way around Lowes, Home Depot and Sutherlands probably better than most, course they know my checkbook very well too. The picture doesn't do it justice, but the wallpaper border has a pinecone design in it.

This is the before!! It took awhile to get to the after, but the effort has been well worth it.
