The end of a long busy day

As you look at the previous 3 posts, you'll understand why our little sweetheart is getting a bit tired. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and hope your new year will be as blessed as I know mine will.

Quilts

When the kids moved into their house, grandma Lynn made Amber curtains for her room. So with some added fabric, grandma made a quilt for her for Christmas to match. Grandmas pieced the quilt top, then it was put together and machine quilted by her Great Aunt Carol from Illinois. The small quilt with the bears was a gift for Abby, made and quilted by Aunt Carol also.

Christmas at Denver Bean's

While we were in Denver, we decided it would be a good idea to celebrate Christmas too. With all of our busy lives, it is sometimes hard to find a time that works for everyone. We celebrated Abby's first birthday, as you can see from the previous post. Then that evening, we had our Christmas with the kids. We had a great time, thanks for a great day.

Abby turns One

We were able to join JB, Angela, and Amber to celebrate Abby's first birthday. She is growing and developing so fast, it doesn't seem like a year has gone by. She is has the cutest expressions I think I have ever seen. As you can see by the pictures, she had a great time. She had her own first birthday cake, as well as a big cake.
