Caught up

I hope you enjoy the following posts, I have caught up with our activities from this summer. Between spending time with the grandkids, going to the races, movies and on vacation we have had a very busy summer.

I am ENGAGED

Bruce proposed to me on August 18th. We had went fishing and I was presented with a ring box hanging from the end of a fishing pole. He did get down on one knee and ask me to marry him. I said yes. We have set a date for June 6, 2009.

Wildlife

A baby bunny that lives under my trailer, a squirrel having his breakfast on top the neighbors truck, and a cow moose we came across on the way to the lake.

Rockie's Game at Coors Field

Aug 11th - I went to my first Rockie's game. The mascot Dinger riding a motorcycle around the track to promote that nights promotion. The Rockies played the Chicago Cubs and beat them 15 -2. They split the series.

Aiyana

Aiyana was visiting her dad so she came and spent some time together. We had a great time watching movies and eating ice cream.

Abby enjoyed everyone's birthday

Angie's Birthday

Besides sharing her birthday with the girls, she also has an Uncle who was born on the same day. They had a Harry Potter cake.

Amber celebrates her Birthday

Amber's cake was a tinkerbell theme. Cousins and friend enjoyed pizza, games, & rides at Jakes

Alanna Celebrates her Birthday

Alanna had a great time on her first birthday, she dug right into her cake.

BIRTHDAYS

July 21 - Along with Angela, Amber and Alanna's birthday, Bruce's falls the day after - July 24th. We got together with JB and the girls and Bruce's children and grandchildren at a park and enjoyed cake and ice cream.

July 21 - Angela, Alanna and Bruce open their gifts with a little help from Abby.

July 21 - We took the girls swimming. Ali loved her turtle, enough that she almost fell asleep. Abby wasn't to sure about the big pool but she got better.

VACATION

June 2nd - Bruce and I took our first vacation together. We took a week and went down to the four corners area of Colorado to Mesa Verde, then went to Durango and road the Durango to Silverton narrow gauge train. It was a beautiful trip over the mountains to Silverton. We finished the week by spending a couple days in Granby, Colorado fishing.
