August to December

Sounds like a fall to winter romance. Well the following few posts should catch me up.

Our Families

My son JB, his wife Angela, and daughters, from left to right, Alanna, Amber, and Abigail. They were modeling the Bean University shirts I got them. If you compare the next picture, it is amazing how much JB and Bruce's son Derek resemble each other.

Bruce's son Derek and his wife Cathy. Their 3 daughters, Ariel, Emerald and Jaylyn and son DJ (Derek Jr.) Bruce's children have made me feel very much apart of their family.
Bruce's daughter Danyel, her daughter Paige and Danyel's fiance Chris.

Christmas at the Bean's. We went to the kid's early in the morning to see the girls open their gifts. Ali was really fun this year, she really got into tearing open gifts.
About a week before Christmas, Angela put Abby watching TV while she did a couple things upstairs. Well when she went to check on her she found every present that was under the tree opened. Abby preceeded to tell her mom that she knew it was wrong and she will never do it again. What can you do but SMILE!! :)
We went to Bruce's dads in the afternoon and then to his son's for the evening. Had a great day, weather was terrible, but we made the most of it.

Abby turns 3

December 16th - Abby had her birthday party at Jakes. It's a pizza place with games and rides. Lots of fun for the kids, lots of noise for the adults. The whole family by the Christmas tree

Creatively Crimson

My Red Hat group at Christmas time.

This is CJ

CJ was born to Bruce's daughter Danyel. He was born in October, 2 months early. He was only 2 pounds, 12 onces. Unfortunately we lost him in December, the parents and doctors decided it would be best to take him off life support. They believe he suffered a stroke inter-unterine. They said if he had survived without the respirator he probably wouldn't have made his 1st birthday.

Fall leaves

We had great fun in October playing in all the leaves.

The "are you nuts grandma" look

Abby makes some of the funniest faces. She sure is a joy. I am so blessed and thankful to have beautiful granddaughters to have fun with and spoil (just a little)

Swimming with the girls

The hotel mom and I stayed at had a pool so we had a great time with the girls. Abby finally decided she wouldn't go under water with her life vest on. Ali went all over in her turtle floaty.

A Visit from my Mom

Mom came to visit the end of September. She really enjoyed seeing JB's girls for the first time. Abby thought it was pretty cool to wear glasses just like great-grandma.

My Ring

Here are a couple pictures of my ring. I wanted something different and when we found this I fell in love with it.
